Here are my blueprints for my modular rail system. The system is based on a map wide grid, that is sized to the length of a 1-4 train. This makes 1-4 trains the preferred and maximal train length. The system is perfectly signaled. Rail signal are only used, if there is enough space for a full 1-4 train after the signal.But it doesn't support rail blueprints (yet). And be careful when using this on blueprints that use certain tricks (like inserting onto underground belts from the back side and similar).
